“Leigh Lucas and the group that signed up for this workshop were fabulous. Leigh's suggestions and prompts are invaluable. Being a part of a group really helped me with accountability as well as hearing what others' experiences with writing. I found the course to be super invigorating and so many great suggestions to help me connect to my writing self.”
“8-9 of us have continued to meet on Zoom every morning beyond the January class and it has been wonderful to keep me accountable! Leigh fostered such a great environment for us to connect”
“Leigh is an excellent workshop facilitator. She makes everyone feel comfortable and her prompts and book suggestions are superior.”
“Wonderful, wonderful concept for the course and in its execution, too. Leigh created a community out of thin air. We're still meeting despite her maternity leave.”
“Leigh was a great facilitator, and our group really bonded. We've continue to meet each morning to write.”
“Leigh did a terrific job: gentle and encouraging. She put a lot of effort into her daily prompts in each genre, which was terrific. I was working on something else so I didn’t use them but I saved them all! She offered some good tips on establishing the writing habit—to the extent that I purchased Atomic Habits and read straight through it. The best advertisement for Leigh’s leadership is that a group of us also met on the weekends during January, and we still have as many as 8 people meeting each day in February! I feel like I’ve made new friends AND nearly finished the edits on my 80+ thousand word manuscript! She did a great job!”
“Thank you for offering such a wonderful class and creating a space for discussion, debate, and creation.”
“What a creative energy boost I got! And I loved meeting such a great community of women.”
“Really well structured and made space for everyone to share. You’re a really wonderfully approachable teacher.”
